Running internally at 25 volts, this overdrive/boost pedal opens up a massive dynamic range with increased headroom, clarity, and output. The result? EQ Section

The Two-Five’s EQ design is inspired by the interactive tone stacks found in vintage Fender™ amps (though this pedal doesn’t sound like one). Each control affects the others, giving you a truly dynamic and musical tone-shaping experience. Roll back the highs and the lows fill in beautifully, or push the mids for a focused, cutting drive — the tonal palette is nearly endless.

Voice Switch

A front-panel Voice switch lets you choose between two distinct clipping personalities:

• Down position: Two MOSFETs and a germanium diode provide rich, saturated gain reminiscent of classic British crunch — thick, harmonically complex, and responsive.
• Up position: Dual LEDs offer a more open, dynamic response with a touch more headroom — articulate, punchy, and distinctly American-flavored.

Whether you crave searing drive or crisp breakup, the Two-Five adapts effortlessly.

Op-Amp

After extensive A/B testing, Wren and Cuff selected the JRC3404 op-amp — a rugged, warm-sounding chip capable of handling 25 volts while maintaining musical sweetness and clarity. It’s a distant cousin to the famed JRC4558 used in vintage Tube Screamer™ circuits, but voiced for a more powerful and expansive response.

Output Power

The Two-Five packs serious output. Use it as a high-headroom boost to slam the front of your amp, or dial in subtle grit that cleans up beautifully with your guitar’s volume knob. Either way, it’s a tone-sculpting powerhouse.
