Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effect Pedal – Black (New)

Step into a sonic fairytale with the Walrus Audio Fable, a granular soundscape generator that transforms your guitar into an endless source of evolving textures. Inspired by mythic Treefolk who carry the essence of generations, the Fable lets you craft sounds that are simultaneously ancient and futuristic — part ethereal ambience, part glitchy chaos.

At its core, the Fable uses five granular delay programs built on sample-and-chop algorithms, with dual DSP feedback paths that let you layer and reshape your signal in remarkable ways. From smooth, flowing textures to jagged, organic swarms, every sound is fully controllable via Feedback and Regen knobs, giving you ultimate command over delay, pitch, and repetition.

With granular processing, you can manipulate tiny slices of sound (“grains”) by adjusting their length, position, buffer source, speed, and playback direction. Pitch-shift, reverse, time-stretch, and layer your tones for a universe of sonic possibilities. The Fable simplifies this powerful technique with intuitive programs that explore its full creative potential without overwhelming you with menus.

Key Features:

• Five granular delay programs for diverse soundscapes
• Dual DSP feedback paths for rich, layered textures
• Manipulate grains: adjust length, speed, position, buffer, and reverse playback
• Pitch-shifting and time-stretch capabilities
• Ideal for guitar, synth, or any instrument you want to transform into a textural playground

Whether you’re creating ambient pads, glitchy experimental sounds, or otherworldly effects, the Fable rewards exploration and inspires creativity.
