Walrus Audio 385 Overdrive MKII Effect Pedal – New

Inspired by the legendary Bell and Howell Filmosound 385 projector amp, the Walrus Audio 385 MKII brings that iconic, touch-sensitive drive to your pedalboard — now with even more flexibility and power. Designed to deliver the warm, dynamic breakup of a true tube circuit, this pedal reacts beautifully to your playing dynamics, from subtle grit to roaring saturation.

The MKII edition expands on the beloved original with a new A/B switch, letting you toggle between two independent sets of Volume and Gain controls. It’s like having two pedals in one — easily switch between rhythm and lead tones, or clean boost and full-on drive. The new 385+ switch adds another layer of aggression by pushing the front end of the circuit for extra saturation and gain.

Just like the original, the 385 MKII retains its amp-like tone stack — only now, Bass and Treble controls are separated, allowing for far greater tonal range and midrange sculpting. Whether you want tight, focused drive or open, harmonically rich overdrive, the 385 MKII delivers that unmistakable “amp in a box” feel.

Key Features:

• Inspired by the Bell and Howell Filmosound 385 projector amp
• Authentic tube-like dynamics and breakup with rich harmonic content
• New A/B switch toggles between two gain/volume presets for seamless transitions
• “385+” mode adds extra drive and compression for high-gain tones
• Independent Bass and Treble controls for expanded tone shaping
• Internally runs at 18V for enhanced headroom and amp-like response
• Exceptionally touch-sensitive — clean up with your picking dynamics or guitar volume

From gritty vintage crunch to saturated drive, the 385 MKII is a modern classic reborn — perfect for players chasing character, texture, and feel.
