I'm selling my new Jim Frieson guitar. It was handmade in Sapporo, Japan. The reason behind the sale is that I'm looking for a short scale guitar. This guitar is standard 650mm scale. This is a beautiful instrument, with top quality old woods, top of the line super smooth Gotoh tuners. The purflings are very unique. The cashew varnish adds more protection to the guitar, whilst adding to the very special sound (it is a very similar type of varnish as used by Kohno guitars). It has a very sweet and beautiful tone. I sell it with a hard flight case. It was bought this year brand new and has been well taken care of in a non-smoking home with humidity control.
