Crews Maniac Sound GBNY-1 Finger Tailpiece ｜ Natural

A new-style semi-acoustic guitar that combines the nuance of a full hollow with the focus of a semi-hollow design — featuring a spruce top and an all-spruce center block.

It achieves both the characteristic sweetness and depth of hollow instruments and a core tone that cuts through the mix. This particular model comes with a finger tailpiece specification.

While most semi-acoustics use maple for the body top and center block, the GBNY-1 adopts spruce for both. This design brings out a “full-acoustic-like” resonance and nuance, balancing pleasant sweetness, depth, and tonal clarity. The back and sides are made from beautifully flamed maple, giving it a luxurious appearance.

The three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck features an ebony fingerboard and medium-scale length. Its moderately thick profile provides a strong, well-defined tone with excellent playability.

The guitar is equipped with original humbucking pickups, offering a wide tonal palette — a crisp bridge sound, mellow neck tone, and clear center position.

By blending volume and tone controls, players can cover an impressive range of genres from rock and blues to soul, neo-soul, hip-hop, and jazz.

The finger tailpiece design allows the strings to extend further to the body end, vibrating the entire top more fully and producing the signature sweetness and airy character of hollow guitars.

Its long metal structure naturally enhances harmonic overtones that the stop-tailpiece models do not possess.Additionally, the tension of each string can be fine-tuned individually, appealing to players who seek precise control over subtle nuances.

In the electronics section, carefully selected components — including premium parts and N.O.S. capacitors — are used to ensure the best possible tone.

Together, these elements form a beautifully balanced, uniquely designed sound concept. It’s a semi-acoustic guitar with specifications so distinctive that it’s surprisingly rare to find anything quite like it.

Finished in a natural color, it features stunning flamed maple sides and back, gold hardware, a deep-black ebony fingerboard, and block inlays, giving it an elegant, refined, and modern aesthetic.

Its excellent responsiveness even in high positions, along with a mellow yet assertive tone, makes it an instrument that truly invites you to play and experience its charm.
