This listing is for:   new in packaging Allparts AP-0633-023 Black Plastic Square Jackplate for Les Paul (this item is packaged by the manufacturer WITHOUT the screws). But I am including 4 new screws - silver color (the screws are Gibson screws) which fit properly on this jackplate.

Even though this item is marketed as a Jackplate for Les Paul - I do not see it as having a slight curve - SEE pictures # 3 and # 4. I am sure that when screwed on / when screwed down - the plastic jackplate will flex. Please do not force it to bend. It might take time for it to completely flex to the slight curve shape that it needs to be to snuggly fit on your guitar's body. Therefore - little by little (day by day) tighten it down more.

NOTE: The selling price will be $1 LESS of you do not need / do not want the screws.

NOTE: When I got this item a couple of years ago - as you can see - the screws were not / are not packaged with this jackplate. But nowadays Allparts does include the screws.

But as you can see in pictures # 1, 2, 5, 19, and 23 - I am including a set of 4 new screws (silver color).

The packaged jackplate + the included screws seen in the pictures are the actual item that you will receive.

This jackplate is made of plastic.

As I explained above (as as you can se in pictures # 3 and 4 - right now - the jackplate is flat. But since it is made of plastic it will flex a little. To be on the safe side I will say the following: Please be careful when installing the jack plate on to your guitar (especially if you are putting it on a Les Pau body type). You may want to flex it a little before installing - this should make it easier to install. Also do not immediately over tighten (allow the jackplate to gradually bend and then tighten more).

The jackplate is in A+ condition.

NOTE: pictures # 5, 7, 8, and 9 were taken is a slightly lower light to show the imperfections on the thin clear plastic packaging material that's over jack plate. It's the clear plastic that has the imperfections - NOT the jackplate.

• The clear plastic of the packaging that is over the jackplate has a few very light hair-line surface scratches. And there are some tiny & very small visible air bubbles, some tiny dust specks, and some surface cloudiness that - in the picture 5, 7, 8, and 9 and in most of the other pictures showing the jackplate- make it look like the jackplate itself has small dark spots and / or dark or cloudy lines, etc - but it doesn't. And in the pictures - the clear plastic make it look like the jack plate i cloudy - but it isn't. The jackplate is fine

The stiff paper part of the packaging: Main areas are mostly fine.  The Upper Center area of Both Sides have some unevenness around the main hole (hole for mounting a store display rack) & on / near the upper edge. And there is a not too serious puncture next to that hole. A few of the corners have light wear.

I took several pictures of this item and a few pictures show the screws . You can see the condition of this jackplate and the packaging and the screws in the pictures.  Feel free to ask for more pictures of this item.

NOTE:  There are a few imperfections on the packaging that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.   There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked.  And - there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (like glares and dust specks).
