Origin: Record Plant Studios Los Angeles

Designed by the legendary Allen Sides, the Ocean Way HR5 brings the unmistakable precision and imaging of the world’s most respected studio monitors into a compact, powered format. These exact speakers once lived inside Record Plant Los Angeles, delivering reference-grade accuracy during major recording sessions.

The HR5 combines a custom 7-inch woofer and proprietary high-frequency horn design to produce an ultra-wide sweet spot and extraordinary clarity. The tonal balance is open, effortless, and faithful — the kind of sound that makes engineering feel intuitive.

These are paired with an Ocean Way Audio S12A MkIII Subwoofer, which represents the state of the art in low-frequency sound reproduction for recording studios, cinemas, and other applications where powerful, tight bass enhances your listening experience. Designed by multiple Grammy-winning engineer/producer and iconic studio owner Allen Sides, the S12A MkIII is equally adept at reinforcing the deep bass in music monitoring systems as well as delivering the weapons-grade bottom end expected of modern commercial and home theater installations.
