22” 6 ply hard maple wood bass drum hoop, 1.5" wide (40mm) with a 19.5mm (approx. 3/4") wide center inlay channel. The inlay channel is 1mm deep. This hoop has thicker plies and is equivalent to a 12 ply hoop, about 3/8", and is the standard thickness of a bass hoop. This is a single hoop.
Unfinished, rough sanded and ready for finishing (starting with wiping with a damp rag to raise the grain and then sanding with 220 grit). The top edge has a full roundover bevel, the bottom is flat.
Unfinished hoops contain small holes between the plies that can be filled with toothpicks and wood glue. This is not considered a defect.
