Electrify Your Riffs with Vintage Vibe: The 1993 Fender Japan ST57G-65 Stratocaster in Translucent Green!

Ready to dive into the golden era of rock with a Strat that shimmers like an emerald under stage lights and sings with soulful clarity? Feast your eyes on the 1993 Fender Japan ST57G-65, a meticulous ’57 Vintage Reissue in that mesmerizing translucent Charcoal Green finish – professionally set up and dialed in for effortless playability, this pre-owned powerhouse is your key to unlocking timeless tones from bluesy bends to surf-rock sparkle!

Crafted in the renowned Fujigen factory during Japan’s golden MIJ era, this Stratocaster captures the essence of the 1957 original with modern reliability. Envision a lightweight basswood body, weighing in around 7 pounds, cloaked in a glossy translucent green that lets the wood grain dance through like a forest in sunlight – it’s visually stunning and tonally resonant, delivering that classic Strat quack and chime without the heft. The contoured double-cutaway design hugs your body for hours of comfortable shredding, while the vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge invites whammy bar wizardry for those expressive dives and warbles.

Glide your fingers across the smooth maple neck, shaped in a comfortable oval profile that measures about .80” at the 1st fret and .95” at the 12th, topped with a matching maple fingerboard boasting a 7.25” vintage radius for that authentic old-school feel. Twenty-one slender vintage frets sit ready for lightning-fast runs, inlaid with pearloid dots that guide you through the 25.5” scale length. Three vintage single-coil pickups deliver the goods: sparkling cleans from the neck, punchy mids in the middle, and biting bridge attack – all switchable via the five-way selector, with master volume and dual tone controls to sculpt your sound from glassy highs to warm, woody lows. And with gold hardware adding a touch of bling, including those sturdy tuners and knurled knobs, this green machine looks as premium as it plays.

Sonically this guitar can handle nearly any genre of music thanks to the ST-Vintage Single Coil pickups which give you a brighter, snappier sound from the neck position and a hotter, more powerful sound in the bridge. However, that singular Strat sound has more to do with the overlooked middle pickup than the other two. Engage the the middle pickup along with either the neck or bridge to get that signature Strat Spank. The neck feels very smooth and paired with the lightweight body, it gives you comfort and supreme playability, even if you have been rocking out for hours. This guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition with a few small nicks, fine surface scratches an and light play-wear (see pictures). Overall, this beauty is fantastic shape for her age. This green machine will not stay on the market long... These rare Japanese treasures don't come around too often. If you are a player in search of a unique and killer companion for musical adventures, this Strat is simply calling your name! Whether you’re channeling Hendrix’s psychedelic fire, Clapton’s creamy leads, or just crafting your own sonic saga, this ST57G-65 is a slice of Strat heaven waiting to be yours. Don’t let this translucent treasure fade away – contact us today and make it the star of your collection! 🎸💚

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy

We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.

Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.

We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
