The rarest in the Collectors Choice series is the 38A " Chicken Shack Burst". I believe less than 50 were made due to Gibsons inability to get the right wood to match the flame of the original Burst. It was an early 1960 ( double 0 serial # ) with a magnificent upward chevron flame with all 59 specs. Owned by Stan Webb of the British Blues band Chicken Shack who played it throughout the 1960's and into the 80's. This one has flame very simillar to the original. Gibsons promo sheet for the guitar is in the listing which gives all the details on it. Funny that the guitar they chose doesn't really look like it. There is also a photo of Stan Webb with the Burst. Aged by Gibson with True Historic specs. There are no VOS versions of this guitar. Low serial #4 on a rare spectacular piece. As new condition with the COA , all tags , Aged case from Gibson and the original shipping box.
