Awesome 1930's AIRLINE RIBBON Microphone, Model MW, customized w/ stand & cable

     Offering an awesome vintage 1930's AIRLINE brand, Model MW Ribbon Microphone. This is a rare one, built by Bruno Labs out of New York, and sold under a franchise license with Airline. These mics had an odd "ribbon-like" matrix board that required a special power supply, but we've never come across an original one that actually worked properly. We have modified this mic with a TRUE, high-quality ribbon drive, so this mic now sounds awesome, with a powerfully rich low-end, well-suited for multiple recording studio uses. (Please check out the voice sample in the listing video.)

      The casing is near mint original Medium Brown paint, and maybe never actually being placed in service? This is a weighty microphone having a robust aluminum-cast casing with a nice sharp maker's badge right up front! This mic body is 6" long with the support yoke and thick aluminum stand mount. It has been wired to a short pigtail cable with male XLR plug...just add your XLR extension cable.
