Crafted for players who demand exceptional tone and character, the Fender Limited Edition Hotshot Stratocaster Heavy Relic combines classic design with premium Custom Shop features. The 2-piece select alder body with an offset seam is finished in a Heavy Relic lacquer, delivering the look and feel of a well-loved, road-worn instrument.
A quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable ’60s-style Oval "C" back-shape offers rock-solid stability and a fast-playing feel. The 3A rosewood fingerboard features a 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo (6150) frets, making it ideal for both vintage-style chord work and expressive lead playing.
Loaded with Custom Shop hand-wound Tomatillo Tele and Strat pickups, this Strat delivers a unique tonal blend—articulate, warm, and touch-sensitive, with plenty of punch and clarity. The custom “bobbed” Tele® bridge with RSD saddles ensures enhanced intonation and sustain, adding a distinctive edge to this hybrid tone machine.
A true standout from the Fender Custom Shop, the Hotshot™ Stratocaster® is built for players who want something extraordinary—visually, sonically, and in-hand.
This particular guitar was on display at the Fender Custom Shop Event in Corona, California. We were lucky enough to acquire this show piece for Eddies's Guitars.
