Mid 1950’s Gibson ES-125
We obtained this beauty from a collection on the East coast and has been well cared for. We've inspected front to back and cleaned and polished. She has all original parts. The serial number is illegible but all the various components date to somewhere between 1955 and 1958. Electronics are in great shape and there is no crackle or hum issues. The neck is straight and the frets have plenty of playing time left. These 125’s were an earlish entry into the electric market. The original P-90 pick up has vintage tones that range from jazz to early rock. The setup is very comfortable and she is a real pleasure to play. There are a few surface blemishes and a light ding on the back. But all-in-all, this is an excellent period guitar with just the right amount of crazing to the finish for this period. A great add to a collection, giging or just some great fun playing. Comes in original period case.
