1960's Hofner 185 short scale bass, cosmetically good overall, neck action is good. Factory red snake skin vinyl covered body. tuning keys are all intact and functioning as intended.
Issues that i have noticed:
1. top pickup is loose in the body and non functioning (see last photo, the wire probably got pulled loose when the pickup came unglued from the backer) bottom pickup works as intended
2. Neck plate screws are incorrect and 1 is absent
3. 1 knob is missing
4. The nut that holds the 1/4" jack in the pickguard is missing.
5. There are 2 or 3 spots where the snake skin vinyl is slightly loose at the seam (a dab of contact cement will do the trick)
selling the bass guitar as described - no returns or refunds
