V8V Sweet Little '66 Vox Tonebender Sola mk 1.5 DAM D*A*M OC76 NKT213 mullard germanium fuzz

1st off, this fuzz pedal has a great 60s sound and cleans up magically with your volume knob to provide that fuzzface style light overdrive... only the Sola circuit has way better frequency response!

If you are still reading you know what this is meant to be. The fabled Tonebender mk 1.5! The early 2 transistor fuzz that birthed the fuzzface, fueled the Beatles and yardbirds (and everyone in the UK?!) in their heyday, do I need to go on? If you like fuzz then I am sure you get it.

The switch on the side revoices the pedal from bright and piercing Vox tonebender specs to Sola Sound specs (think DAM). The Sola-sound mode has more output, is voiced closer to an early Fuzzface, but cuts through the mix so much better than Arbiter's version of a 2 transistor fuzz.

The Sweet Little '66 has the perfect vintage mullard and newmarket germanium transistors for this circuit (see pics) and all the right caps and resistors hand-assembled on vero just like the rare Sola original. Various small builders are making clones like this, but not all of them use the right transistors to get the real deal sound (I own a vintage Vox bender with identical transistors, so I would know). The guys who do like DAM charge a lot of money and have extensive wait lists. Used they go for big bucks, you could get an amp for what a used germanium DAM costs (heck, a silicon DAM fuzz goes for what I am asking for this!). Save yourself the hassle and expense buy my Sweet Little '66. I have not been using it lately and could use some extra cash flow for other purchases. I am just off of Fuzz the last few years and have been liquidating my extensive collection.

I am the second owner of this fuzz pedal and it cost me a pretty penny at the time. The bad news is the pedal is a little worn and has velcro on the bottom thanks to the previous owner. For this reason I will entertain most offers offers.
