The PRS SE Hollowbody Standard in Dog Hair Smokeburst combines vintage-inspired hollowbody resonance with solidbody stability, built around an all-mahogany body — top, back, and sides — under a gloss finish with 1-ply cream top binding that lets the Smokeburst shading really pop. At 6.26 lbs., it's light in hand for a hollowbody, and the mahogany construction gives it a warm, woody midrange with the airy openness that only true hollow construction can deliver.
The mahogany neck wears PRS's Wide Fat carve (.875" at the 1st fret, .950" at the 12th) with a glossy black finish and classic PRS set-neck construction for sustain and stability. A rosewood fretboard with cream binding and PRS's signature bird inlays, 10" radius, 22 frets, 25" scale length, and a 1.6875" synthetic nut round out a fast, familiar PRS playing feel, while the gloss black headstock ties the whole look together. PRS-designed tuners, a PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, and nickel/chrome hardware keep tuning stable and add to the vintage-meets-modern presentation.
