The Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 in Black Satin Metallic is a sleek and powerful embodiment of modern guitar design, representing the next step in Ola Strandberg’s visionary approach to the instrument. The new N2 Series refines the celebrated Boden formula with upgrades that elevate comfort, tone, and performance. With a reimagined top contour that feels more natural against the player’s body, fresh hardware improvements, and a carefully chosen pickup configuration, the N2 Series builds upon the NX line and points to the future of the electric guitar.

At its core, this model features a solid basswood body finished in a shimmering Black Satin Metallic. The understated elegance of the finish highlights the guitar’s sculpted contours, which flow effortlessly into the body’s ergonomic chambering. Weighing just 4 pounds 14 ounces, it offers an incredibly light and balanced feel that makes it an extension of the player rather than a tool. Every curve and detail is crafted to support comfort during long hours of practice, recording, or performance.

The roasted maple neck is a work of engineering artistry, strengthened with titanium and walnut reinforcements to ensure enduring stability. A roasted maple fingerboard completes the look, offering a smooth surface under the fingers while green Luminlay inlays and side dots provide both beauty and practical guidance in low-light settings. The patented EndurNeck profile, perhaps Ola Strandberg’s most influential innovation, redefines what a guitar neck can be. Its sculpted shape naturally aligns the hand and wrist, reducing fatigue and encouraging healthy, effortless playing across the fretboard.

Tone is delivered through a carefully selected Seymour Duncan pairing: the Pegasus in the bridge and the Sentient in the neck. Together they provide a versatile voice that can roar with aggressive clarity, sing with articulate leads, or whisper with delicate cleans. With a master volume, master tone, and 5-way switch, the player has precise control over an expansive tonal landscape. These electronics are supported by the .strandberg* EGS Arc hardtail bridge and Arc string lock, both designed for stability, resonance, and reliability under any condition.

The instrument features 24 Jescar stainless steel frets across a 25 to 25.5 inch multi-scale fan fret system, paired with a 20-inch radius and a 42 millimeter nut width. This combination ensures flawless intonation, smooth playability, and exceptional accuracy from the lowest register to the highest fret. A double action steel truss rod ensures fine adjustability and long-term dependability, making this guitar as rugged as it is refined.

The Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 in Black Satin Metallic is more than an evolution. It is a statement of Ola Strandberg’s enduring influence on the guitar world, merging innovation with tradition to craft an instrument that feels as forward-looking as it does timeless. With its striking finish, featherlight body, and versatile tonal capabilities, it is built to inspire music that is bold, expressive, and unforgettable.
