I know, I know. You're chillin' on the way home when, all of a sudden, you get a Rock Block courtesy of 97.1 "The River" or whatever your local classic rock station happens to be. The opening bars of Jimi Hendrix's live recording of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" spark an idea. As you drive down the road, you think to yourself, It's been a long time since I fired up that JTM-45. Well, because you no longer own it.

As you reason about why, courtesy of those 2.5 children, the wife, and that house note that seems to find you once a month, you hatch an idea and do a search on the old interweb. Of course, like a rat in a maze on the scent of cheese, you find what you seek. As your mind races on how you're going to explain this just magically appearing, you hear Jimi reckoning with you: How'd it go?

I should'a quit you a long time ago.
I should'a quit you, baby, long time ago.
I should'a quit you, and went on to Mexico.

Between the quitting and Mexico in your peripheral vision, you notice you're not alone. As you close the lap top to hide your true desires, her eyes follow you intently.

Her: "Honey, what day is it?"
You: "Well, uh, Thursday."
Her: "And what happens on Thursday?"
You: "Uh, Rock Block Thursday, baby?"
Her: "And?"
You: Oh, and trash night," you say sheepishly.
Her: "Baby cakes."
You: "Yes, snuggles?"

As the door closes, you feel the rage. Yes, life's good, but whatever becomes of me, you think? Like Woody Allen once said, "In my house, I’m the boss; my wife is just the decision-maker." Yeah, you think that's got to change, or it's off to Mexico. As for this amp?

Marshall only made 200 of these JTM 145s? These were introduced in 2014, and these custom shop amps were made exclusively for Andertons UK for their 50th anniversary. Features? Why Not?

1 watt (switchable to 0.3 watt).
Period-correct early 60s soft tolex.
Bright and normal input.
1 x 12 cabinet with Celestion hand-made pre-rola T-652 12-inch 30-watt 16-ohm speaker.
And naturally, this amp is hand numbered and signed by Lee Anderton.

As for the vinyl covering? It is the same color and grain as the original. The 1960s radio knobs with the white infill and handle are the same design as the JTM45 from that era. Last but not least, they replicated a very rare Marshall logo that was only used for a couple of weeks of JTM45 production in the mid-1960s.

The tone you ask? Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows. Yep, that's it. Condition? You know how I do this? With excellence. How's that, Wolf?

If I ha'da followed my first mind.
If I ha'da followed my first mind.
I'd'a been gone since my second time.

Wolf, men don't follow their mind; they follow something else, and there is no time for Mexico now, so suck it up, buttercup; the Wild West has already been won. Your fortune cookie: Hindsight alone is not wisdom. And second-guessing is not a strategy.

P.S. Transformer included.

P.S.S. The cover, as you can see, is a Fender. But a Marshall 1 12 isn't that difficult to find.
