Louis Electric Custom Build

A one-off build circa mid to late 90s (Louis himself isn't exactly sure), approximately 40 watts w/reverb, V-front cab, under the moniker COUNTRY BLUESMAN. Speakers are 8 ohm alnico Tone Tubby Red 12 and 10 into 4 ohm OPT load. Replacing Fender Ceramic - the TT baskets are 12.25 but the cabinet wouldn't accommodate so I purchased a converter baffle from Mojotone which I then widened the inner perimeter as per TT specs.

PURE sonic Nirvana! Speakers favored by Clapton and Santana etc. and IMHO are the hemp cone upgrade to the big alnico magnet Jensen P12N used in the Tweed Twins. The worm will turn for you also!!! I will gladly include free of charge the original ceramic Fenders.

1 X 5AR4, 2 X 6L6, 3 X 12ax7, 1 X 12at7.  Most likely the Bassman 5F6a circuit Lou specializes in.  Has a trim pot for biasing and a RCA output jack for what is presumably a line out.  LOUD 'n' TIGHT with headroom from here to MSG. Take a listen to Keith Richards' Tweed Twins for an approximation (though he prefers the earlier breakup of Celestion ceramics). I have corresponded with Lou over the years to install a master volume to dial-in earlier breakup but since I don't own a car... Takes pedals SUPER well. LUSH reverb and QUIET as a church mouse. The pine cab was probably built by Will Dyke at Armadillo but he also doesn't recall though he did say he met Lou and his mom at a NAMM show and that he did build cabs for him. FYI, speakers prefer the non baffle V-front cabs and this one moves lots of air. LOTS! The '48 V-front Super was BTW Leo Fender's favorite amp...and for good reason!

Crem de la Crem! Louis plus Tone Tubbys is the finest sounding combo en todo el mundo! NO JOKE! Includes padded Tuki cover. Very minor pitting on face plate.
