PS: we hide the part of the serial number that is not important to ascertain dating and manufacturer info. This is done for our protection. There is a well known scam going on online for sometime now where unscrupulous people fill stolen item claims with the serial number of an expensive instrument to try and get a guitar for free. It is not easy for a scammer to successfully pull this off but it is just to avoid the hassle in case anyone tries it.
