Founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listag, Taylor Guitars has grown rapidly since the 2000s thanks to innovative ideas, superior technical expertise, and sophisticated marketing. Now, as one of the world's leading acoustic guitar brands, it enjoys a solid following among a wide range of consumers, from casual consumers to professional musicians. This instrument is the eye-catching "Builder's Edition 814ce Blacktop," the flagship model in the "Builder's Edition" series, meticulously designed by master builder Andy Powers. While the standard guitar features Indian rosewood back and sides, this limited edition guitar features Honduran rosewood. It features an Adirondack spruce top, Honduran rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, V-Class bracing, and an ES2 pickup system. It delivers powerful volume, rich lows, clear highs, and a well-balanced tone with a core. This versatile model is perfect for any playing style. In addition to the chamfered body edges, the smoothly beveled armrest and beveled cutaway allow for effortless access to the upper registers. The built-in ES2 pickup delivers a realistic, groovy acoustic sound, even when used with a line output. The black finish, accented with a rosette and pickguard, creates a cool look. If you're looking for something special, this is a must-have.
