JHS Pulp ’n Peel V2 Compressor – Excellent Condition – Rare Early Version

Description:

Up for sale is a JHS Pulp ’n Peel V2 compressor/limiter in excellent condition. This is the sought-after Version 2, featuring the soft orange enclosure with the original orange-slice logo. V2 shares the same circuit as the later V3 but with the earlier aesthetic and enclosure—making it a favorite among collectors and players alike.

The Pulp ’n Peel is JHS’s take on the classic Orange Squeeze–style compressor, offering smooth, transparent compression with natural dynamics. It excels at subtle leveling, punchy funk tones, and as a clean boost/preamp when you dial it in that way. It’s also extremely versatile thanks to the blend control, letting you keep your dry signal intact while still enjoying compression.

Condition:

• Excellent condition overall (see photos).
• Minimal signs of use, no major dings or scratches.
• Works perfectly with no issues.
• Kept in a smoke-free environment.

Features:

• Version 2 circuit (same as V3).
• Blend knob for parallel compression.
• True bypass switching.
• Classic JHS build quality.
• Distinctive soft orange enclosure with the vintage logo.

These early Pulp ’n Peel versions don’t come up often, especially in this condition. A great chance to pick up a rare piece of JHS history that’s every bit as usable as the current models.
