This majestic guitar was built to my specifications and includes wide-grain, premium Madigascar Rosewood that Ken had purchased from someone who had owned it since the 1980s. Ken originally thought the wood was Brazilian Rosewood but when he went to cut it, he didn’t get the “smell” he normally gets from Brazilian. So, he took the wood to his friend Wayne Henderson. Wayne, Ken and two other prominent guitar builders evaluated the wood but couldn’t come to a consensus on whether it was actually Brazilian or a super high-grade Madagascar. In his final analysis, Ken believes it's a premium set of Madagascar.
