Up for sale is a very nice and classy looking 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard in classic Black Gloss Ebony finish. This guitar is the real deal — dripping with true character, seasoned by 20+ years of honest play, and loaded with that unmistakable Les Paul mojo.

This particular Gibson Les Paul is in overall very good condition. Has some honest play wear on the surface of the guitar. Some surface scratches and dings on front/back/sides of guitar from standard playing. Some wear, marks, scratches on pickguard from playing with a pick and fingers. Has some minor marks on upper register/pick-guard area from playing with a glass slide.

Some standard minor buckle rash on back of guitar from playing standing up. This isn't some case closet collector guitar that has only been stored and never been played. This Les Paul has been loved and used as a tool and instrument to create beautiful music because it feels and plays so good. If you're into that type of vibe - then this is the perfect Gibson guitar for you. NO HEADSTOCK CRACK.

When you pick it up, you immediately feel that balance between refinement and grit. What makes this year special is that it’s from the pre-chambered era... you get that classic and endless Les Paul sustain when you're playing clean or with little bit of distortion. The ebony gloss gives it a timeless, tuxedo-like look, equally at home under stage lights or hanging in the studio. TBH... some of the best and most solidly built Les Paul's are from the 90's-early 2000's Gibson models. The quality control was very high and consistent during those era... and this guitar is no exception. This Les Paul is built like an ABSOLUTE TANK.

The humbucker pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan 59' Pickups. These are a HUGE improvement from the original pickups (which had a very strong bridge output but weak neck pickup output). Now, this guitar sounds much more balanced on all 3 selector options (neck, middle, bridge) and can handle more diverse tonal sounds from all music genre.

You can literally play soft jazz and blues... and then add some distortion or delays and play super hard rock or metal with this guitar. Other than that, this guitar is all original with no other modifications or changes. The sound quality of this instrument does not disappoint whatsoever. 🔥

This is a TRUE Standard Les Paul — one that has lived, breathed, and is ready for another couple decades of riffs, solos, and songs. The build quality is solid as hell, the feel of the neck feels very nice in your hands when you grip it and play.
