I’m thinning the heard and selling my 2013 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Reissue R8 with a hand selected top for the Japanese market in a rare sweet cherry red finish. This guitar has only been played sparingly in a temperature controlled smoke free environment. Overall condition is excellent, just a few tiny little marks and some very light play wear, no major scratches or marks. The original frets are in excellent condition, no buzzing or dead spots. The neck profile is a rounded 50’s with the same thickness as my R9 with slightly less rounded shoulders so I would describe it as a slightly fuller ‘59 profile. Neck plays silky smooth and guitar is very resonant with a great full tone.
