"The first new-design Marshall amp for ages, but tonally it recalls the company's illustrious past. You have to hear it."
For sale is one incredible Marshall combo now discontinued for 12 years now.
The Vintage Modern 2266C - the precursor to the Marshall Bluesbreaker combo and loaded with a pair of huge KT66 valves (found in the orginal Bluesbreaker amp) and two Celestion G12C (faithful reproductions of Hendrix favored speaker).
Huge, vintage sounding Marshall which features two drive settings (with separate preamp Volumes), an onboard Reverb, Presence control and all important Master Volume.
This unit has just been serviced by Dex Audio, has had a couple preamp valves changed and the all important isolated 9th pin on the power tube that still causes Marshall issues to this day. Footpedal, cab cover and power lead present.
This was my first amp back in 2007 and I've looked after it well. Reluctant sale but I can't keep them all.
