Seymour Duncan SWD Custom Shop Alnico II Humbucker Bridge – Gold Cover

Seymour Duncan SWD Custom Shop Alnico II Humbucker Bridge – Gold Cover

Hand-built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, this Alnico II “Custom Custom” humbucker is designed to deliver rich, expressive tone with added warmth and harmonic detail. The Alnico II magnet provides the familiar sweet top end and smooth attack, while the overwound coils push the mids forward for a full-bodied, singing voice.

Expect a warm lower-mid growl that makes chords sound huge and alive, along with a round, vocal treble responsethat gives solos a sweet, singing quality. It’s an excellent choice for players who want added fullness, warmth, and sustain in the bridge position. Pair it with a Jazz or Pearly Gates in the neck for a balanced, versatile setup that covers everything from blues and classic rock to soaring lead work.
