Overview

The Yamaha FSC-TA is part of Yamaha’s TransAcoustic line — steel-string acoustic guitars that incorporate built-in effects (specifically reverb and chorus) that operate without needing external amps or pedals. The “FSC-TA Concert Cutaway” model combines this technology with a concert-size cutaway body style, making it versatile for both stage and casual playing. The “Ruby Red” refers to its glossy, bold red finish. 

Key Features

• TransAcoustic System / Effects
  The guitar includes Yamaha’s TransAcoustic circuitry (also known as SYSTEM70 on some spec sheets) which provides internal reverb and chorus effects. You can activate these to enrich your sound acoustically, without external gear.

• Acoustic-Electric Capability
  It also has a piezo pickup (line out) so you can plug in when needed. Controls include volume and effect switches/knobs (for reverb/chorus etc.) so you have control over both acoustic sound and amplified output. 

• Concert Body with Cutaway
  The body is a concert shape with a cutaway, allowing easier access to the higher frets. This makes it more feasible for lead work or playing higher up the neck.
