Vintage 1930's Telefunken Bottle Microphone, working reproduction/dynamic (A)

     Offering a custom-built working reproduction/prop of a 1930's made in the style of a Telefunken "Bottle" Ribbon Microphone. This style microphone was developed in Germany and used by the German radio and recording industry in the 1930's, and also employed to broadcast the speeches of Nazi leaders and the Olympic games from Berlin in 1936. (Check out the listing video to hear a voice sample recorded on this microphone.) 
     Unlike those authentic condenser mics that had vacuum tube amplifier circuitry within the cylinder (bottle), this reproduction employs a new ribbon drive, so will function on any modern amplifier or mixer and does not need any external power. The cylinder on this reproduction is stainless steel with a chromed Astatic ribbon microphone head mounted on top, and measures 18" tall x 3.5" wide, with reproduction Telefunken badge. The bottom of the cylinder has a standard 5/8" male thread, so the base can be removed and the mic can be threaded onto any other stand of your choice.
