Oh boy here we go. Up for sale is a 1983 Les Paul Standard in the rare Natural finish that has extremely LOW LOW use ( Think of a classic car barn find with only 100 miles driven then put away for over 36 years and it shows! The last time the strings were changed was 1988 as noted by original owner and string pack found in case ( Was Dated) . Purchased new and it has never been played live, in a studio or anything like that! it was strummed from time to time at home on a lazy boy chair.

Condition as you can see by the photos it has no dings, nicks or anything. No buckle rash, The headstock is starting to get the classic checking on top and around the tuning pegs post all natural from age. We also have some natural checking along the neck both sides and a few by the volume and tone knobs. The Back plates have no scratches and all electronics are original and untouched.

Original Tim Shaw Pickups the have never been removed , covers pulled off or messed with. All pots are original and jack as well.

This guitar has a great neck not to skinny but not fat at all with a nice fast feel and solid with the amazing bazillion rose wood. It sounds amazing plugged in straight into an amp direct we used a Marshall 2555 Jubilee and Fender Twin.

Case is also great with no dings all latches work great and you can tell by how tight it is that it only lived in a closet most of its life. the red strap from bottom to top of lids has come off on one end.
