Our users rate Reverb
The WA-19 faithfully recreates a highly favored 1960s studio and live dynamic mic, merging the best features of dynamic and condenser mics. It offers a custom, hand-assembled dynamic cardioid humbucking capsule that ensures superior noise rejection and reduced proximity effect while providing the clarity and airy top end typical of condenser mics for richer detail. With its rugged metal construction and an acoustic high-pass filter that cuts up to 10dB at 50Hz, the WA-19 is excellent for recording cymbals, acoustic guitars, vocals, and more. It revives the original's tone and capabilities, making it a versatile choice for both studio and live use.
