For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1968 Gibson Barney Kessel.
The Gibson Barney Kessel (1961–1974) is a signature model guitar manufactured by the Gibson Guitar Company. The guitar was a signature model for the popular Jazz musician Barney Kessel but was not largely popular and in 1974 Gibson discontinued production.
The guitar is a hollow-body, making it great for Jazz playing. The body features a double cutaway design with a spruce top, maple sides and back, two Humbucker pickups, a mahogany neck and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard with double-parallelogram inlays.
This 1968 Barney Kessel is in great cosmetic condition, but it is missing its signature Barney Kessel badge for the tailpiece and we are selling this at a discounted price based on that. Otherwise, it is in very good condition and it looks and plays great.
