The MXR Special Edition RR104 Randy Rhoads Concorde Distortion celebrates the sound and spirit of one of rock and metal’s most iconic guitarists. Built as a faithful recreation of Randy’s own MXR Distortion+, this pedal delivers the searing, tube-like crunch that defined his legendary tone on stage with Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne.

Every detail was carefully studied and matched to Rhoads’s original pedal, ensuring the same fiery gain, singing sustain, and unmistakable bite. With only two simple controls — Output for overall volume and Distortion for drive — you can quickly dial in everything from warm, edge-of-breakup crunch to full-blown, saturated leads. The rugged enclosure is finished in Randy’s signature white with black pinstripes and gold fittings, echoing his iconic V-shaped guitar.

Designed to be both a heartfelt tribute and a practical powerhouse, the RR104 makes it easy to capture the raw energy of Randy’s solos and riffs. Whether you’re chasing classic ’80s metal tones, pushing your amp into rich overdrive, or simply looking for an inspiring distortion pedal with rock ’n’ roll history built in, the MXR Special Edition RR104 is ready to deliver. Each pedal also includes a commemorative booklet and certificate of authenticity. Shred like a hard rock icon with this limited edition pedal, available now at Haggerty's Music.
