This guitar was custom ordered from Suhr in 2009 and is truly one of a kind. It is not a production-line instrument. A custom Suhr order typically requires over a year of waiting, as every detail is executed with absolute precision. Throughout the build process, the woods are carefully aged for 3–4 months before construction even begins. Every step is handled with millimetric accuracy, which is why the completion of such an instrument takes so long — but the result is a work of art in both craftsmanship and tone.

This Suhr Standard Custom Arch Top combines a genuine mahogany body with a 3/4” quilted maple top, producing both stunning aesthetics and remarkable tonal depth. Paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, the guitar delivers warmth, clarity, and the unmistakable refinement that Suhr instruments are renowned for. The Even C Medium neck profile (.840”–.920”) and 22 nickel jumbo frets ensure maximum comfort and smooth playability, making it a joy to perform on.

Equipped with a Gotoh 510 tremolo, Sperzel locking tuners, and a versatile set of pickups — the Suhr SSV+ bridge humbucker and Suhr SSV neck humbucker — this guitar covers everything from classic rock to blues, jazz, fusion, and beyond.
