The 2012 Gibson Ace Frehley Les Paul is a special signature model honoring the legendary KISS guitarist. Gibson crafted this replica based on Ace Frehley’s iconic Les Paul guitars from the 1970s and 1980s. Equipped with DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups, it delivers a significantly higher output and more aggressive tone than classic Les Paul models. Designed specifically for hard rock and heavy metal, this guitar is highly valued by Ace Frehley fans and collectors alike.

The triple-pickup Les Paul Custom, which Frehley used extensively during 1977–1978, played a major role in KISS’s live shows and albums. This modern interpretation stays true to his original modifications and tonal preferences.
