Additional marketing Info

The ESP LTD TL-6 is a thinline acoustic-electric guitar purpose-built for electric guitar players who want full-body acoustic tone without sacrificing the comfort and feel they are used to on stage. Part of LTD's entirely new TL transducer-electric series, it bridges the gap between acoustic warmth and electric playability with high-quality tonewoods and premium components throughout. This is an ideal instrument for gigging musicians, recording artists, and intermediate to professional players ready to expand their sonic palette without changing their playing style.

Product Overview

The TL-6 is built around a slim mahogany body with a spruce top, delivering a powerful and articulate tone that performs equally well plugged in or unplugged. The mahogany body contributes warm, rich midrange character, while the spruce top adds clarity, definition, and projection to the overall sound. The gloss black finish gives the guitar a sleek, stage-ready look that will turn heads at any performance.

The three-piece mahogany neck features a Thin U contour that immediately feels familiar to electric guitar players, paired with a rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets for effortless playability across the entire neck. A 25" scale length, 43mm Graph Tech NuBone XB nut, and 350mm fingerboard radius round out a setup that prioritizes comfort and fast response. Grover tuners keep the guitar locked in tune through every set, while the Jatoba bridge with Graph Tech NuBone XB saddle ensures clean intonation and excellent sustain.

Onboard Fishman electronics — including the S-Core pickup and TL-3 preamp with built-in tuner — reproduce an authentic acoustic tone that sits naturally in any live or studio mix. The active electronics layout gives players precise control over their plugged-in sound, making the TL-6 a genuinely versatile acoustic-electric guitar for the Idaho Falls guitarist who plays both electric and acoustic settings. Strings come factory-loaded with D'Addario J26s (.011–.052) (Currently 10-47) for a balanced feel and rich tone right out of the box.

Key Features

Slim Mahogany Body with Spruce Top The thinline mahogany body eliminates the bulk and hard edges of traditional acoustic guitars, making it dramatically more comfortable for electric players during long performances. The spruce top delivers a powerful, articulate tone with excellent clarity whether the guitar is plugged in or played acoustically.

Thin U Mahogany Neck with Jumbo Frets The three-piece mahogany neck with a Thin U contour replicates the feel of an electric guitar neck, allowing players to apply their existing technique without any adjustment period. Twenty-two jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard provide smooth, expressive playability from the first fret to the last.

Graph Tech NuBone XB Nut and Saddle The Graph Tech NuBone XB nut and saddle enhance resonance and sustain while providing consistent string spacing and break angle across all six strings. This premium hardware upgrade over standard plastic components contributes noticeably to the TL-6's overall tone and tuning stability.

Fishman S-Core Pickup and TL-3 Preamp The Fishman S-Core transducer pickup captures the natural voice of the thinline body with accuracy and detail, while the active TL-3 preamp gives players onboard tone shaping and a built-in tuner for quick, silent tuning between songs. Together, these electronics deliver a polished, professional acoustic tone in any live or recorded setting.

Grover Tuners Grover tuners are a trusted standard among professional guitarists, offering smooth, precise tuning that holds reliably through full sets and temperature changes. Their inclusion on the TL-6 reflects ESP LTD's commitment to equipping this guitar with dependable, performance-grade hardware.
