Here is a Stunning 1991 Hamer Chaparral Max Bass with an Outrageous Quilted Maple Body. The Max Bass was the Pinnacle of the Hamer Bass Line and you can see why. Most guitar builders simply veneer a thin piece of figured maple on their bodies. However, not the Max Bass, as the body is actually two Slabs of Highly Figured Maple with a Center Seam. Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard with Boomerang Inlays, Sculpted Headstock, Gold Hardware and a Pair of EMG Pickups. Very Good Condition displaying some light use with some surface belt buckle wear on the back of the body and finish checking. The Original frets display very little use. Plays well with medium gauge strings. Included is the Original Hamer Hardshell Case with some wear and tear on the tolex. A finely crafted and gorgeous Hamer Bass.
