This is either a late 60s or early 70s 330. I am the 3rd owner of this guitar, having bought it from somebody who had bought it from the family of the original owner around 2018 or so (I bought it in 2021). The most noticeable modification is that the original dog ear single coils were replaced with what appear to be original Gibson humbuckers of similar vintage. I wonder if this was a factory job given the skillful hole filling as noticed in the pictures. Of interest also is a picture of the original owner taken with the original pickups clearly visible.

From what I was told, the original owner was a traveling preacher who travelled the world playing music during his services with this guitar. The luggage stickers from China on the original case are proof of this.

The guitar is in amazing condition, well played and well loved. It’s got the usual finish checking as seen with guitars of this vintage and the expected wear. It has a great slim neck and action. Overall it’s a great vintage player, though somewhat of an oddball with the pick up change aforementioned. Sounds like a great vintage Gibson.
