2003 Gibson Historic Gold Top Les Paul 1956 Reissue R6. Has the looks of the 57’ R7 model because it has been professionally routed for humbuckers.
The pickups are Tom Holmes J455 (4 conductor wiring) in the bridge and J450 (2 conductor wiring) in the neck.
A Faber locking bridge has been installed with brass saddles. The tuners are locking Gotoh SD510 locking tuners that look like vintage tuners. They lock internally with a small thumbscrew on the tuning posts. Bone nut professionally installed. Professional fret level and setup was done a couple years ago so the setup is incredible on this one, easy to play.
The knobs and back plates have been replaced with slightly relic'd/patina'd knobs and back plates from creamtone. com.
At one point there was a hairline crack under the truss rod adjustment area that was professionally repaired. There is some natural wear as shown in pictures, player grade instrument. It feels broken in and comfortable to play.
The original pickguard fits a P90 route but will include it as well as the original brown back plates and custom shop hardshell case. Also check out the video attached for sound samples.
