Godin G-Tour Nylon Matte Black 2025 SF Acoustic-Electric Guitar w/Gig Bag
For years Godin has been a leader in stage-ready hybrid acoustic guitars. But in terms of nylon string models with non-classical neck proportions there has been only the ACS slim model. The Godin G-Tour handily fills the gap for an acoustic nylon performance guitar that is a seamless transition for electric players.
The Godin G-Tour utilizes a solid cedar top, lightweight hollow maple body with a legit electric-style maple neck, rosewood fretboard and unique vertical post nylon tuners. The action is commendably low for a nylon, and most electric players should feel completely at home. If anything, the neck will feel oddly small for someone familiar with a traditional nylon guitar; but the G-Tour is aimed at a very different audience. Unplugged volume is very good and there is no reason to plug in the G-Tour for practice or even jamming with another acoustic player.
For electronics Godin uses their tried-and-true EPM Q-Discrete under-saddle system. Plugged into our GR acoustic amplifier the G-Tour really lacked for nothing in terms of sound quality. We were very impressed, and it did not leave us wishing for a true amplified acoustic. High treble settings can bring out a little squeakiness from the strings, but this is true for most saddle pickup systems. EQ'd to our liking the G-Tour plays and frets with minimal string noise.
The G-Tour is another unique Godin hybrid that is a great "situational nylon" for performers, or if you want that nylon sound but don't want to deal with classical guitar ergonomics. And because it's a Godin the fretwork and overall quality is top notch. Our friends from Canada have come to the rescue again.
This is a Godin “SF” factory second guitar with a small cosmetic defect (see photos, but we could not find it). All SF guitars carry the full factory warranty and you get a great guitar at savings.

For players looking for a nylon string sound, but who are more comfortable with an electric guitar feel, the Godin G-Tour can revolutionize their guitar lineup. Equally compact, distinct, and comfortable, this hollow-body guitar features EPM Q-Discrete electronics, with volume and tone knobs that encourage players to “plug in”, and turn it up!
Godin really knows nylon string guitars. The G-Tour’s chambered Silver-Leaf Maple Body, Solid Cedar Top and unique fan-bracing design ensures excellent sound projection and rich nylon-stringed tone. The Hard Rock Maple neck features a Rosewood Fingerboard with a 1.65” nut-width, providing the comfortable feel of an electric guitar, and makes on-stage transitions a breeze! The combination of carefully selected tone-woods and its unique body profile, give the G-Tour plenty of acoustic headroom with minimal feedback.
