This is a nice one. The Ibanez 2374 Crest is a pretty rare lawsuit model. It is an actual lawsuit model. Most people refer to lawsuit guitars as any vintage japanese brand while it was in fact concerning Ibanez alone and their headstock shape. This lawsuit took place in 1977 and resulted in Ibanez changing its headstock design ( this time they copied Guild...). As you can see here it is a classic open book headstock just like Gibson. The original Maxon pickups date from 1973 and this model was only made from 1971 to 1974 so we'll call it a 1973. It is a beautiful guitar with rosewood bridge, fingerboard, back and sides. It's got a very nice mahogany neck that plays really well. It sounds excellent. The neck pickup has been partially rewound. Just one bobin was dead, the other was fine so we kept it as is. Frets are fine, again it plays and sounds great. I will ship in a hard case if requested. I have some nice ones that I can add at exact cost. This is a rare one, if you are an Ibanez Lawsuit collector it's a must have.
