Vintage 1980 Fender Deluxe Reverb Silverface 1 x 12" Combo Amp

45 year old Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier in Excellent electronic and cosmetic condition! Very clean, inside and out! All original, except for the speaker, which was upgraded to an Electro-Voice series II EVM 12L many years ago and which still sounds great! (Sorry I do not have the original speaker) The tubes are about 10 years old but have rather low play hours, so plenty of life left in them. The reverb sound is warm and sweet as you would expect, and the tremolo is vibey and inspiring! There is a very usable "boost" feature on the 1980 Deluxe, which can be engaged by pulling out on the volume knob, or by attaching an secondary foot switch at the back panel. Overall a very warm sounding amp with really nice tone and some mojo. The tolex is very clean / no tears, and in great condition throughout. The chrome parts are mostly clean with some minor visible rust/discoloration on one of the two amp retaining brackets on the top (see last two photos). Grill cloth is intact - with no tears. Sale includes the original foot switch, swivel casters and a custom-fit cover made by TUKI.

Please NOTE: Although we have this amp listed as "local pickup only" if you live on the West Coast in: California, Oregon, etc. we may be able to work out some kind of personal delivery by car. We feel this iconic California-made amplifier is too delicate (and too heavy) to be shipped. Please read our shop description for more detailed information. Thank you!
