Building on a legacy that began in the 1960s, the Japanese-made FGX5 Red Label acoustic guitar with built-in pickup system is a timeless instrument, tastefully crafted for the modern performer. Voiced to excel with strummed performances, its dreadnought-style body offers a punchy low-end and detailed harmonics that takes full, open chords to new ground. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from the '60s, it features a stunning gloss finish which authentically matches the original FG Red Label guitars. Beyond the vintage appearance, FGX5 incorporates advanced technology, including Yamaha's A.R.E treatment which results in the sound and sustain of aged wood. Step onstage and discover true acoustic tone with the Atmosfeel™ pickup system.
