DETAILS:

Here’s a poor condition, non-functioning Roland TR-909 for parts or repair. Our tech says he’s confident he can repair it because he’s amazing and can fix just about anything. However, we pay him by the hour and projects like this tend to take a long time and cost a lot, and in the end, even if we made it look like new on the outside, there’s a cracked circuit board etc inside that wont look so good even after repair, so the end result would be a 909 that wouldn’t be up to our high standards. So, we have decided to sell it broken and strictly as is. Please take a good look at the photos to see what’s included and what’s not - theres nothing more and nothing less than whats shown. In case it's not clear, there is no bottom cover. In recent years, there have been 909 clones on the market that reportedly use compatible parts one can buy to fix real vintage 909s. Please research this yourself if you’re considering buying this 909 and have the skills required to tackle this project as we dont want you to be disappointed. We also need to make it clear that there are no guarantees whatsoever, warranties, refunds or returns. We don’t know if you have the skills or access to the parts required to repair it. For the right person who enjoys fixing gear as a hobby and is really good at it, this may be a fun project. If it fails to sell, we will keep it and may eventually refurb it for use in an incredible public access vintage synth studio we may one day open here in NYC.
