This is a memorable model, released in 1978 as the first BOSS compressor!
Using a photocoupler, it produces the iconic "pop" sound that comes to mind when thinking of a compressor. The MODE switch allows you to choose between "Normal" and "Treble." It's versatile, allowing you to add a thumping sound when cutting or adding definition to your sound. Its rich, solid sound makes it a masterpiece of a Japanese compressor, rivaling even ROSS and DynaComp.
