The alder body (select 2-piece), lightweight and resonant (weighing 7.7 lb), features a nitro-relic finish that highlights the checking, wear, and discoloration of an authentically vintage instrument. The quartersawn maple neck has a '59 Esquire "C" Large profile (.860"–.990" thickness), with a AAA rosewood fingerboard (round lam), a 7.25"–9.5" compound radius, and narrow-tall 6105 frets, for the perfect balance of vintage feel and modern playability. The guitar features a set of Fender Custom Shop Handwound Fat '50s Strat pickups, with "Fat '50s" wiring and a 5-way selector switch. Controls include a master volume and two no-load tones. Relic chrome hardware, a Vintage Strat relic bridge with bent-steel saddles, and vintage-style tuners. Comes with a certificate of authenticity, an original Shop Floor Traveler case, and a brown Fender Stratocaster hardshell case.
