Zinky Mofo 2000

Rare, all-tube Zinky Mofo guitar amplifier head hand built in the USA by master amp builder Bruce Zinky of the Fender Custom Shop (designer of the Vibro King, Prosonic, Tone Master and Supro amps). One of a limited run of 100 signed and numbered amps made in 2000.

Two footswitchable channels.  The clean chanel is very Fender like.  The Mofo (high gain) channel is similar to a Soldano SLO or a JCM800 but with better bass response.  It is very sensitive to playing dynamics and can break up nicely at bedroom playing levels.

The MoFo was our first production amplifier and was therefore limited to only 100 units. This all tube amp was conceived by Bruce Zinky to offer stellar  performance at a down to earth price. Featuring a clean channel with an independent EQ, and a dual-mode lead channel (MOFO and RETRO gain) versatility is this amplifier’s middle name. On the lead channel, MOFO mode gives you gain to spare and a smooth natural attack while letting you dial in your tone with separate bass, midrange, and treble knobs. RETRO mode allows you to create the classic blues and rock tones as well as the low end grind of an over-driven vintage amp, but lets you do so at any volume.
