Interesting and rare collectible pedal useful on guitar, bass and keyboards. Discontinued in 1981. Functions as it should. 45 years old and in great shape.
Pedal only. 9v power. This era Boss pedal has a batch number ink stamped inside the battery compartment. Boss/Roland support replied that this unit from batch #8600 dates to 09/1979. Beyond that from what I understand the other features of the pedal fit one from that era.

Serial number/batch number is in 1977 until mid 1981 format (only 4 digits long)
First few digits equates to
-86 months after July 1972.
