A lovely post-war 1948 Martin D-18.
All original with a recent neck reset for optimal playability.
There are 3 small repaired cracks on the back, the longest approximately 3". All have been glued with hot hide glue and cleated internally. No other cracks anywhere.
The instrument has been inspected under blacklight and the finish appears all original without overspray, as suggested by its general appearance.
Lovely lacquer checking of the nearly 80yr old finish, very dark rosewood bridge and fingerboard as seen from Martin during the era.
it comes in a hardshell case perhaps of the era. It's well made and heavy.
A great sounding and playing vintage Martin
