Upgraded SX Furrian 2015 Butterscotch Blonde

Upgraded SX Furrian Telecaster ~ Glossy Butterscotch Blonde ~ Hot Pickups.

This a basic SX Furrian Tele (a surprisingly well built guitar to begin with) with upgraded (and improved) pickups, capacitor & new saddles. This Butterscotch, chrome & black combo gives it a totally retro look (all new ~ no scratches, nicks or dings ~ there is a faint ripple in the finish on the back of the neck at the skunk stripe….that’s it). This Tele has several custom upgrades yet retains its original classic appeal. There really was not a lot that needed improvement on this beast.

·        This is a 100% new guitar – Retro style Basswood Body ~ very bright & resonant = good sustain ~ Used for many years in classic ESP, Ibanez & B.C. Rich hard rockers. Warmoth says “Sound-wise, Basswood has a nice, growley, warm tone with good mids. A favorite tone wood for shredders in the 80s since its defined sound cuts through a mix well.

·        Finish: A True Butterscotch Blonde Gloss Poly (semi-transparent ~ Great Color, easy care).

·        Neck: Dark Amber Vintage Tint Maple w/ Maple fretboard ~ Neck Radius is 13.7” ~ Scale Length: 25.50"- Frets:- 21 Medium – Profile: Modern C Shape (only slightly thinner) – Width at Nut: 1 5/8" - Width at heel: 2 3/16" – Black fret markers & side dots (neck is fast, smooth and comfortable – nicely grained).

·        New sealed Chrome tuners with mini-buttons (very dependable) & chrome string trees.

·        Upgraded Neck & Bridge pickups: CALIG ~ T21 & T22 - AlNiCo 5 Vintage Tele Neck  & Bridge ~ neck pickup is 9.0k and bridge pickup is 11.1k ~ vintage tone, much better sustain & response & distinctly brighter than standard Fender ~ w/ vintage cloth wiring.

·        Standard mini pots & Tele 3-way switch w/ black barrel knob (not top hat) ~ w/ added NOS MMDR .047uf 400v Capacitor (Polypropylene film).

·        All heavy duty chrome hardware ~ upgraded Chrome vintage style saddles ~ string thru body bridge (string swapping easy), chrome strap pins & Strat style vol. & tone knobs (I can include original chrome knobs if you would prefer).

·        Guitar only weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz.
